Raqchi

In the region of the , the temple of Raqchi is probably one of the most impressive that exist in the continent. Near from Sillustani, this architectural complex dedicated to the first God of the Incas, Wiracocha, has 6 patios and 8 small streets surrounded by columns of 8 m diameter; this is all that remains of the 200 houses that stood here long ago. Ruins of a fountain with 5 mouths are located next to hot springs, an ancient jail and ruins of walls that protected the Inca road are also to visit. The handicraft workshops, specialized in ceramics are flamboyant.
